Why Vouched exists

Buying your first car at 17–24 is where the money and the risk collide. The sticker price is the small number; insurance is the big one — and nobody shows you both together before you fall for a car you can't afford to run.

Meanwhile the safe places to buy are expensive, and the cheap places are full of scams. Facebook Marketplace has zero checks. Dealers charge thousands for peace of mind. There was no middle: private-sale prices with dealer-level safety.

What we do

Vouched is a first-car marketplace built for young drivers and the parents who help them. Every car is checked, every payment is protected by FCA-regulated escrow, and the number that actually matters — car plus insurance, per month — is shown up front through our First-Car Finder.

We're deliberately small at first. There won't be hundreds of thousands of cars — just verified ones, each with its badge earned. We're starting in London and growing from there.

What we won't do

We don't scrape other sites' listings, we never hold your money, and we don't give insurance or financial advice — where insurance is involved we introduce you to authorised providers. Our estimates are based on public data and are always labelled as estimates, never quotes.
